Asus launches Zenfone Max pro M1 in Indian market
Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer Asus on April 23 launches Zenfone Max Pro M1in Indian market. Asus CEO Jerry Shen announced at a grand press event in Delhi. This smartphone is launched to back off Xiaomi recently launched the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The maximum loss of market share will be faced by Samsung, as he grabs maximum Indian shares and not only Asus and Xiaomi has succeeded in transform the Samsung customers but also Vivo, Oppo, and Lenovo has to succeed in steal Samsung market shares.
The Asus Zenfone Max pro M1 distributed online on Flipkart and pre-order starts at 12 noon, 3rd May.
The ZenFone Max Pro M1 somewhat similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but with the slight advantage over certain specs. ZenFone starts at 10,999 rupee (about $170; 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage). The Redmi's 13,999 rupee base price (about $210; 4GB + 64GB) often ZenFone offers a (4GB RAM + 64GB) storage configuration, but at 12,999 rupees (about $200) it's still slightly cheaper. It's clear that Asus is really trying to compete Xiaomi.
Asus also confirmed the 6GB RAM variant, priced at Rs 14,999, which will go on sale later.
The Zenfone Max pro M1 has come with the extended features of Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Both devices feature a 5.99-inch screen with resolution 1080x2160 pixels, a nice mid-range Snapdragon 636 processor plus a rear fingerprint reader (face unlock is available, too), dual nano SIM slots. The Zenfone Max pro M1 has come with the extended features, as a larger 5,000mAh battery, a brighter screen, and pixel contrast ratio, and the Android 8.1 Oreo whereas Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with Android 7.1.1. The Zenfone Max pro M1 can charge its 5000mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 2 hours and 42 minutes, compared to Redmi Note 5 Pro with a 4000mAh battery that needs well over 3 hours.
Camera-wise, the ZenFone Max Pro has a 13MP + 5MP rear camera, and on the other side, there's an 8MP front camera with an LED flash for easier selfies. Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a 12MP rear camera, and its offer 20MP selfie camera.
